It's important to examine you house for any access points where pest can enter the home. Blocking these crucial access points is important step for a pest free home. Also certain conditions around your home, like wood stored near a homes foundation can actually invite a pest infestation. It is recommended to store wood away from the house and off the ground. Also remove piles of leaves, stone, brick or wood, which can turn into a bug condominium in no time. Indoors it all starts with eliminating the food sources, such as crumbs in the pantry that can attract all sorts of pests. It's also very important to clean kitchen counters, wash dirty dishes and sweep floors daily. Uncovered food sitting out can attract flies and roaches that spread harmful bacteria.
